I entered the 39th International Youth Photo Contest, run by the Photo-Club Pétange in Luxembourg under the patronage of FIAP, the International Federation of Photographic Art, and the Luxembourg Amateur Photographic Federation (FLPA). The contest is open to photographers under 25, and any subject is allowed. This year 794 photos came in from 16 countries, and the jury accepted 246 of them, about 31%. My photo "Two Penguins," of two king penguins in Patagonia, was accepted in Group A, for ages 16 and under. I was the only entrant from the United States.
The final results haven’t been announced yet. Official notifications go out on November 2, 2026, and I’ll update this page once they do.
See the contest website and the full list of accepted photos.
